Kodagu: A father and son died by suicide on Tuesday March 9 for trivial reason reportedly at Bilugunda Village of Virajpet Taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Subbaiah (75) and son Girish Ganapathy (36). It is said that Girish abused his father for trivial reason. Unable to sustain the abuse father Subbaiah resorted to suicide by jumping into a lake.
On hearing the news son Girish also jumped into lake, and ended his life. Virajpete Rural Police has registered a case and are investigating.
