Kodagu: In a joint operation conducted by the Wildlife Wing of the Forest Department and the Border Division, it was found that a vehicle from Kerala had brought garbage from Kerala last night and dumped it inside the Makutta Forest.
In all,15 bags of garbage were dumped. Two accused have been arrested.
The vehicle carrying the garbage bag was seized.
Under the guidance of DCF and ACF of Virajapete Circle of the Forest Department, Makutta Range Forest Officers and Staff participated in the operation.
