The MUDA Chairman submitted a proposal for a revision of the town’s master plan, that would take into account development in the next ten years. CMC, PWD, CESC, and the Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board will collaborate on the master plan.

The master plan suggestions submitted by the general public were thoroughly discussed.

The meeting decided to reduce the width of the road widening, give permission for the construction of houses inside plantations, give permission for land conversion for houses, set up a buffer zone to prevent Rajakaluve encroachment, and designate a cellar for four-wheeler parking while constructing houses, even if the house is built on a 240 square metre site.

The meeting also discussed CA sites. The Health and Family Welfare Department had submitted applications regarding these sites. The decision was made to present the plan to the government.

DCF Poovaiah, DHO R. Venkatesh, MUDA Commissioner Lavanya, and CMC Commissioner Ramdas were present.
