Kodagu: Retired army officers team visit General Thimmaiah Museum

Kodagu: A team of nine Retired Senior Army Officers led by Lt. Gen Buttiyanda K. Bopanna visited the General Thimmaiah Memorial Hall in the City on Wednesday March 15.

The team led by retired Lt Gen. B. K. Bopanna, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, visited The General Thimmaiah Memorial Bhavan and paid floral tributes at the Amar Jawan Memorial.

The team comprised Retired Major General Mohan Das, Major General M. M. Singh, Major General Ahluwalia, Major General Karla, Air Commodore Praveen Bhadwar, Brigadier Surinder Singh, Brigadier D. K. Khanna, Air Marshal D. Bindra’s wife Pammi Bindra and Gul Karla.

Field Marshal K. M. Cariappa and General Thimmayya F. S. President Col. Kandratanda C. Subbaiah briefed the delegation about Thimmaiah Memorial Hall. Retired Subedar Major Gowdanda Subedar Thimmaiah, Manager, Thimmaiah Memorial Hall, was present.
