Mysuru: As Dasara festivities grace with grandeur, it’s disheartening to observe the diminishing presence of the Kannada language in official matters. This city, known for its historical significance, cultural heritage, and as the dwelling place of Goddess Chamundeshwari, is witnessing the prominence of English, a development that raises concerns.
Therefore, it’s imperative that all departments give Kannada the foremost place and elevate the status of the Kannada language. This has been emphasized by our Mysuru-loving Kannadigas, and it’s an urgent directive for all authorities. The Kannada culture department official D.P.K Paramesh have issued this strong directive to the officials and urged them to ensure that Kannada gets the top priority it deserves.
