Madikeri: An incident of sexual harassment against the girl students of a school has come to light late, here on Saturday, December 8.
The accused Rafeeq (26) has been arrested by the police.
Two days ago, in the morning hours, Rafeeq entered the school and began sexually harassing girl students. He continued to do the same the next day as well.
Unable to bear the harassment, the girls informed their parents about the same.
Rafeeq was caught by the residents and parents and thrashed. Later, he was handed over to the police.
The Madikeri rural police have arrested Rafeeq and registered a case under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), sexual harassment and atrocity sections.
