Mandya: Minister K. C. Narayana Gowda said that he has resolved to break the strongholds of JD (S) and Congress in the District and to bloom lotus in at least five constituencies.

Speaking at the BJP Working Committee Meeting held at the BJP Office in K. R. Pete, he said, “I created history by blooming the lotus through K. R. Pete Constituency in the last byelection to the critics who were criticising that the BJP will not win in the District and the lotus cannot bloom here. In the 2023 General Assembly elections, we have decided to plant lotus in at least five of the seven Constituencies in the District and give strength to the BJP,” he said.

“JD (S) and Congress workers, who recently joined the party, are being sidelined. We are unhappy with the attitude of the party leaders. When the presidents and office-bearers of several units submitted their resignation letters in the middle of the meeting saying that they would resign en masse, there was noisy scenes in the meeting for sometime,” he added.
