Mandya: Minister K. C. Narayana Gowda has said that he has immense respect for Congress leader and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and will not criticise him. The Minister made the remarks on Monday January 30 in Mandya while speaking at a public gathering.

“I have immense respect for Siddaramaiah. He had given funds up to Rs 40 crores for the development of my Taluk. I won’t criticise or make comments against him,” Gowda said.

This year’s Assembly elections in Karnataka will decide whether the BJP will serve a second term in office and whether the Congress will take back control of the State. The BJP is making an effort to connect with the people, having commonly referred to Karnataka as their “gateway to the South.”
