Mandya: “Only the Congress party can save this State. If I have to be strong then I have to become the Chief Minister again, and therefore the people of the State should bless me. Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah appealed to make history by making Congress candidates victorious.
He was speaking after inaugurating the 535th Kanaka Jayantyotsava and Pratibha Puraskara programme organised jointly by Mandya District Kurubara Sangha and Taluk Kurubara Sangha. “With the blessings of the people of the State in the coming elections if the Congress comes to power and I become the Chief Minister, I would give 10 kgs of rice to each of the four crore families of the State free of cost.
