Mandya: Rowdy hacked to death at Eshwara Temple

Mandya: A 32-year-old Rowdy-sheeter was allegedly murdered at Eshwara Temple in K. R. Pet Town in Mandya District on Monday June 27.

The deceased has been identified as Arun Kumar, who is suspected to have been hacked to death to avenge the murder of Yatish’s brother five years ago.

A gang of three armed youths who were waiting for Arun assaulted the latter on his visit to the temple at 9.30 am in the morning.  Soon after he entered the temple premises, three youths assaulted him with weapons and killed him on spot. The body has been shifted to K. R. Pete General Hospital.

Arun’s family urged Police Superintendent to visit the spot. Circle Inspector Niranjan and Police Sub – Inspector Sunil Kumar visited the spot. K. R. Pete Town Police registered a case and further investigation is on.
