Mandya: Following recent attacks on churches and prayer halls in Karnataka, a group of right-wing activists has allegedly got into a verbal spat with the management of a Christian convent in Mandya District over the school’s Christmas celebrations.
The incident happend on Thursday December 23, when a group of Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists allegedly disrupted Christmas celebrations at a school in Pandavapura, a town in Mandya District about 160 km from Bengaluru.
A video of the incident has been widely shared on social media. In the video, a few men can be seen in the video having a verbal spat with the management about the school’s Christmas celebrations. They also asked the school officials as to why Hindu holidays such as Ganesha were not observed.
According to sources, the school management has filed a complaint with the police.
