Mandya: Three Tahsildars from the District have tested positive for Covid – 19.
Mandya, Maddur, and Srirangapatna Tahsildars were tested positive. All three are asymptomatic and are now advised for tto home isolate themselves.
The District Administration has asked the contacts of the Tahsildars who have visited the taluk offices to get tested for the infection.
Earlier, Mandya Superintendent of Police, Assistant Superintendent of Police and scores of police officers were also tested positive. All are now under home quarantine.
