MP Prathap Simha launches MUDRA Card

Mysuru: Mysuru Kodagu MP Prathap Simha suggested that all the bank authorities co-operate with the public to ensure loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna, here on Tuesday. He was speaking after launching the MUDRA card during a loan distribution and awareness programme organised by Lead Bank State Bank of Mysore in association with all nationalized bank at Sri Krishna Sabha Bhavana.
Addressing bank employees and hundreds of applicants, Prathap Simha said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme with the intention of reducing debt burden for small vendors and business ventures. He also stressed that this scheme helps to boost income as well create jobs. For successfully implementing this scheme, there is need of cooperation between both banks and beneficiaries on the account of distributing loan and repayment of loans

Due to absence of repayment, the bank employees were working under pressure which is more serious than governments. The role of bank is significant in the development of country, he stressed. He said that the bank authorities need to show more concern towards encouraging new inventions and establishing new business ventures, which would create more employment. The government alone cannot create jobs for all, instead, we need to create jobs by supporting new inventions, he added.

Lead Bank Mysuru Chief Manager K N Shivalingaiah, State Bank of Mysore General Manager S Venkateshwaralu, Indian Overseas Bank Zonal Manager C H Radhakrishna Prasad, Kaveri Grameena Bank Chairman Somashekara Sastry, SBM Deputy General Manager K Srinivas, NABARD Assistant General Manager Aravamudhan N, and other bank officials including Vijayakumar, Nanjundaswamy, Venkat Reddy were present.
