Mysore: The grand celebration of Nadahabba Mysore Dussehra Mahotsav is set to take place from October 3rd to 12th in Mysore. The Department of Kannada and Culture is inviting applications from artists and art troupes to participate in various cultural programmes during this festive period. The programmes will be held at the Mysore Palace and other venues. Applications can be submitted from August 27th to September 10th.
Artists and art troupes can apply either directly at the Office of the Assistant Director, Department of Kannada and Culture, Karnataka Kalamandir, Vinoba Road, Mysore-570005, or by post to the same address. Additionally, they can submit their applications via email to [email protected].
The Dussehra Mahotsav Cultural Sub-Committee has warned artists about intermediaries who may demand money to secure a spot in the programme. If any artist encounters such a situation, they are advised to report it immediately to the Assistant Director’s office.
