Mysuru: 22-member international team visits MCC

Mysuru: A 22-member international delegation on Friday November 18 visited Mysuru City Corporation (MCC).

The focus of the delegation was to understand and learn good governance and e-governance practices undertaken by the City Corporation to the citizens. The delegation includes professionals and people from developing countries.

It is one of the major activities of NIRDPR on capacity enhancement which includes Cooperation. This year, a programme namely ‘Good Governance for Management of Rural Development Programmes’ has been organised by CGPA at NIRDPR from November 1 to 28.

The delegation includes- Celina Amalia Andreassi from the Ministry of Agriculture, Argentina, Laritza Zequeira Perez from the Ministry of Agriculture, Cuba, Yasmin Mohamad Adan, Public Service Commission, Kenya, Saidat Namutebi, Agency For Integrated Rural Development, Uganda, Fazna Abdul Majeedh Fazu, Secretariat of Adducity Council, Maldives, Revathy Thanushan, Department of Labour, Sri Lanka, Uthayaraj Rajadurai, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Sri Lanka, Alfredo Leitao Nhantumbo, Maputo Municipality, Mozambique, Keat Nyal Yian Simon, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, South Sudan, Asuddin Ainiddin, Government of Temurmalik District, Tajikistan, Tajikistan, Gattiek Gatkuoth Wichar Kieth, Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, South Sudan, Fanuel Chama, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Zambia, Dumisani Chiwala, Ministry of Local Government, Malawi, Mohammed Shamsudeen Bawa, Northern Regional Coordinating Council, Ghana, Ibrahim Ali Keynan, The Frontier Counties Development Council, Kenya, Meki Nasr Tahir, Jimma University, Ethiopia, Kamalesh Sarker, Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, Benildo Fransisco Pinto, Maputo Municipality, Mozambique, Suleiman Mbarouk Hamad, Turkish Maarif School, Tanzania, Nurudeen Abiodun Amuda, National Assembly Service Commission, Nigeria, William Khumbo Ngulube, Lilongwe City Council, Malawi and Sukhrob Makhmadkulov, Indian Embassy in Dushambe, Tajikistan.
