Mysuru: A soldier from Hunsuru dies of heart attack

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a soldier, who had come to his native village on leave, died of cardiac arrest at his home at Chittakyathanahalli in the Taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Mahesh (32), the only son of Krishnegowda of Chitakyathanahalli Village in Gavadagere Hobli of Hunsuru Taluk. He has a father, sister, wife Vinoda and a five-year-old daughter. He is the son-in-law of Chandregowda, Former President of Harave Gram Panchayat.

Mahesh was serving in the Army in Kolkata, West Bengal. On October 3, he had gone on leave to his native village and was on vacation with family and friends. He was supposed to return to duty on November 1.

He had gone to bed after having dinner on the night of Tuesday October 11 nd died of a heart attack at around 6.00 am in the morning of Wednesday October 12.

The postmortem was conducted at Hunsuru Public Hospital and handed over to the family.

The District Armed Reserve Police, led by Rural Police Inspector C. V. Ravi, fired three rounds and paid their respects.
