Mysuru bandh against Amit Shah’s remarks sees strong public response

The bandh in Mysuru, organized by Dr. B R Ambedkar Abhimanigala Horata Samiti in protest against Union Minister Amit Shah‘s controversial remarks, witnessed widespread support. Key business areas, including K R Circle and Ballal Circle, experienced closures as shops and establishments voluntarily shut down. The bandh caused significant inconvenience, particularly for students. Dalit organizations led demonstrations, blocking buses and halting traffic, especially on major roads like Mysuru-Manandavadi. Protests included effigy burning and slogan chanting against the minister.
