Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who has gone through the ordeal in this time’s Assembly election, is ready to enter the arena with two dreams and two constituencies. One of the constituencies has been officially declared as Varuna, but the other one is still a mystery.
Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah, who has declared himself as contesting from home constituency Varuna, while BJP is making strategy to defeat Siddu in his Constituency.
Siddaramaiahs son Dr. Yatindra Siddaramaiah , who has spoken about fixing allegations in Varuna Assembly Constituency in a public meeting, said everyone is united to defeat Siddaramaiah wherever he will contest. BJP and JDS are united to defeat Siddaramaiah. They are conspiring together and make money flow. Father is 76 years old. This is his last election. Father should win and retire with dignity, he said and appealed to workers to watch elections very carefully.
There are a total of 48000 Dalit votes, 12000 from the Vokkaliga Community and 27000 from the Kuruba Community. Apart from this, there are 14000 votes belonging to the Uppara community and 23000 votes belonging to the ST community. Muslim community has 15000 votes, while others have 35000 votes. Thus, BJP has put a grand strategy on the basis of caste.
BJP is planning to give a shock to Siddaramaiah through Lingayat votes in Varuna Constituency. BJP has got the support of the JDS leaders who are against him and has planned to defeat him. Not only this, BJP’s strategy is to attract Lingayat and Dalit votes and show Siddaramaiah a taste of defeat.
Earlier BJP leadership planned to defeat Siddaramaiah through B. Y. Vijayendra. But, it is certain that eventually Vijayendra will not contest from Varuna. Regarding this Former Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa himself, said that Vijayendra will contest from Shikaripura. He clarified that Vijayendra will not contest from Varuna.
After the announcement of the general election, the battle in Varuna has intensified. The saffron brigade is making all strategy to give master stroke to Siddaramaiah in his own Constituency.
