Mysuru: Delhi BJP State Vice President Rajiv Babbar has expressed confidence that the BJP will win more than 135 seats in the ongoing Assembly elections in Karnataka and come to power with an absolute majority.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday April 27 he said that, “we have already conducted an internal survey in Karnataka. It has been reported that BJP will win more than 135 seats. So this time also the BJP Government will come to power with a complete majority. No matter what Congress tries, it will not come to power in this election,” he said and added that Congress has already lost its presence in the country.

Congress is fighting to maintain its presence in Karnataka. But the people of the state will not realise the dream of Congress leaders coming to power this time too. The double engine BJP Government is doing a lot of development work in the country and in the state. During the Congress Government, only 2 kms of roads were developed every day, he said and added that the Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is developing 39 kms of roads every day.

“Dashpath Road between Bengaluru and Mysuru has been constructed and inaugurated and made available to the people. Due to this, the travel time between Mysuru and Bengaluru has reduced. He said that the Government has given all opportunities for the development of Mysuru City.

KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar and Congress State In-Charge Randeep Singh Surjewala accused the state BJP Government of being a 40% commission government. But D. K. Shivakumar went to jail on charges of corruption and is now out on bail. Similarly, 50% of Congress leaders have been accused of corruption. Everyone is on the bail, and FIR has been filed against the remaining 50% of the leaders. Priyanka Gandhi has accused the State BJP Government of looting one and a half lakh crores of money. But her husband Robert Vadra is also facing corruption charges. Now he is on bail. Babbar questioned what moral rights does Priyanka Gandhi have to accuse BJP of corruption.
