Mysuru: “It has not come to my notice that a deadline has been given on the issue of reservation for Vokkaliga Community. Let their letter reach me, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and added that he will decide what to do next.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “It is true that I have political pressure. I have to protect the interests of all parties. That’s why I have to think all kinds of things,” he said.

On the Centre’s preparedness to implement the Uniform Civil Code, he said, “No one from the Centre has consulted me on this. Our party has been of the stand for 30 years that Uniform Civil Code should be implemented. I am also collecting all kinds of information on this. We will take an appropriate decision in this regard in the coming days,” he said.
