Mysuru: Hundreds of JDS workers quit and join Congress

Mysuru: Senior JD (S) Leaders, Former Municipal President and current JD (S) District President’s brother N. Srinivas have quit the JD (S) and joined the Congress.

At the behest of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President R. Dhruvanarayana, hundreds of JD (S) workers have left the party and joined hands with Congress.

Dhruvanarayana and Former MLA Kalale Keshavamurthy welcomed all the leaders and workers who left JD (S) and joined the Congress party.

Former KPCC Working President Dhruvanarayana said that hundreds of JD (S) Leaders and Workers have joined the Congress Party after accepting the Party’s ideology. This has strengthened our Party in Nanjanagudu and many more leaders of BJP and JD (S) will join the Congress in the future,” he said.

Srinivas, who quit the JD (S) and joined the Congress, said, “I have joined the Congress along with hundreds of our supporters in the presence of Congress leader Dhruvanarayana. Dhruvanarayan will be the candidate here and the onus is on all of us to make him win,” he said.

Former State Valmiki Nigam President S. C. Basavaraj, Block Congress Presidents Kuratti Mahesh, Shankar, Srikanta Nayaka, Hadya Rangaswamy leader Manjunath, Sridhar, CMC Member Shweta Lakshmi Satish Gowda and others were present on the occasion.
