Mysuru: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced a revision in flight timings for the Mysuru–Hyderabad sector at Mysuru Airport. The updated schedule, effective from March 31 as part of the summer timetable, is aimed at streamlining operations and improving passenger connectivity.

The flights on this route are operated by IndiGo, one of India’s leading private carriers.

Revised timings for Mysuru–Hyderabad route

As per the new schedule, the IndiGo flight from Hyderabad will arrive in Mysuru at 3:55 pm. The return flight from Mysuru to Hyderabad is scheduled to depart at 4:15 pm.

Officials stated that the revised timings are designed to better align with operational requirements and passenger demand, particularly during the busy summer travel period.

Changes in airport watch hours

To support the revised flight schedule and ensure smooth functioning of Air Traffic Services (ATS), AAI has also updated the operational watch hours at Mysuru Airport.

The new watch hours are:

  • Monday to Saturday: 10:00 am to 10:30 pm
  • Sunday: 3:00 pm to 7:45 pm

These changes are intended to ensure that all technical, operational, and safety services are fully available during peak flight activity.

No change in Mysuru–Chennai flights

Authorities clarified that there is no change in the flight schedule for the Mysuru–Chennai sector. Flights on this route continue to operate as per the existing timetable.

The flight from Chennai arrives in Mysuru at 6:50 pm and departs at 7:10 pm.

Advisory for passengers

Passengers travelling on the Mysuru–Hyderabad route have been advised to check their flight status with the airline prior to departure, in order to stay updated on any last-minute changes.

Officials emphasised that the revised schedule is part of a broader effort to enhance efficiency and ensure passenger safety without disrupting existing services.
