Mysuru: Nagendra, who has been an MLA from Chamaraja Assembly constituency for five years and has now filed his nomination as a BJP candidate, has borrowed crores of rupees despite being a crorepati.
He has given details of his assets in the income certificate issued to the Election Commission, in which he has declared assets worth Rs 8,45,87,159 out Of this, Rs 2,39,10,000 is debt.Out of the total assets, Rs 49,04,074 declared as movable and Rs 7,96,83,085 as Immovable property.
He has declared assets worth Rs 1,64,39,518 in the name of his wife M Sheela. Out of this, Rs 32,39,518 is declared as movable and Rs 1,32,00,000 as Immovable properties. He has also declared that there is Rs 57,00,000 debt in his wife’s name.
