Mysuru: A youth washed away in Kapila River at Nanjanagudu on Wednesday July 13 while swimming.
It is said that three youth went to Kapila River for swimming at Hejjige Village. Two youth swam to shore while Ahmad Karim (24) was washed away in the river. Fire personnel have been striving to fish out the body since Wednesday.
Karim’s father Munavar Pasha has now alleged that it is murder. He said Karim has not removed clothes and chappals while swimming. He accused that it is pre-planned murder and Nanjanagudu Circle Inspector has not registered a complaint despite requests.
Nanjanagudu Rural Police has registered a case and is investigating.
