Mysuru: A dowry harassment victim’s father died of a heart attack on Sunday March 20.
The deceased has been identified as Mahadeva Shetty (46) a resident of Vidyaranyapura here. Shetty’s daughter, Nandini was found dead about a month ago at TK Layout in the City. He had complained to the police that his daughter had died of dowry harassment by her husband’s family. He had been dejected that the guilty escaped without any punishment.
Shetty, who was sitting in front of a shop in JP Nagar on Sunday suffered a massive heart and died. A case has been registered at the Vidyaranyapuram Police Station.
