Gundlupet: In a surprising incident, a leopard attacked and killed two tethered goats in front of a residence in Lakkur village. The goats, owned by Mallu and placed outside their home within the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, fell victim to the leopard’s unexpected attack.
The leopard had been seen in the village’s vicinity for an extended duration before it suddenly ventured into the village, causing concern among the residents. The villagers are now urging the forest department to provide adequate compensation to Mallu, the farmer who suffered the loss of his goats.
