Mysuru: The first day of the second phase of Congress’ Mekedatu padayatra’s created minor traffic jams on the Mysuru Road stretch between Ramanagara and Bidadi on Sunday February 27. Following this, commuters are being advised to take alternate routes to Bengaluru until the padayatra reaches the City.
According to sources, the flow of vehicles towards Mysuru was not a problem. The padayatra was on the lane leading to Bengaluru, therefore vehicles heading that way are not allowed, informed the police.
The police also informed that they have also raised awareness about avoiding Mysuru Road when travelling to Bengaluru but few people ignored our directions and got stuck in traffic.
