Mysuru: Three tiger cubs of a tigress, who was killed on the edge of Antharasanthe range of Nagarahole Park in the District, are safe and healthy enough to hunt themselves, according to footage by cameras.

For the past two months, a tigress was spotted roaming with its three cubs in the Taraka Hole area, which comes under the Antharasanthe Wildlife Range of Nagarahole Tiger Reserve.

On November 12, a mother tiger’s carcass was found in a decomposed state on a private farm in the Taraka backwaters. The Forest Department Officials led by Nagarahole Director Harshakumar Nargund, undertook a combing operation using 130 personnel, 4 domesticated elephants, 30 trapping cameras and 2 drone cameras to track the baby tigers.
