Mysuru: Amrita Vishwa Vidyaeetham won first place with Rs. 1 lakh cash prize in the pan India competition ‘Smart India Hackathon-2022.’
A team of Integrated MCA students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus has won the first prize. GIET University, Gunupur, Odisha was one of the host institutions.
‘Smart India Hackathon-2022’ was organised by the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Government of India.
The team Genius Noobs and NTA, led by Vibha Harish, with the members Padmaja Preksha D., Abhijna P. S., Pranav Jeevan, Apeksha Rao and Surabhi R. bagged the most coveted laurel consisting of certificates, trophy and Rs. 1 lakh cash prize.
Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem – solving. Apart from providing an opportunity to interact with the innovative minds of the country and network with this platform also exposes the participants to several collaborative opportunities.
Three teams were selected from Amrita Mysuru Campus to participate in the National level grand finale, stated a press release.
