Mysuru: Tamil Nadu State BJP President and State BJP election in-charge Annamalai appealed to the public to resolve to make Karnataka Congress-free by electing BJP this time as it has been working for the nation.
Addressing huge gathering at BJP Vijayasankalpa Yatra of Chamaraja and Krishnaraja Assembly constituencies organised on Sunday March 5 at Maharaja College Grounds he said “Congress is trying to make the State ATM. Congress and JD (S) are two parties based on family. If there is any party for the nation in this country, it is only BJP. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is never working for himself. He has succeeded in taking the status of the country high in the world. Therefore, this time, the hand of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be strengthened by sending the Congress party home. Vote for the party that is conducive to development,” he asserted.
Continuing, he said, “Eshwarappa is an idealistic man. Pratap Simha is known as a development MP. K. R. Constituency MLA Ramdas, a former senior minister, has worked a lot for the development of Mysuru. MLA Nagendra is also an enthusiastic MLA. The Double Engine Government has worked for overall development of Karnataka in three years. Congress talks about religion and caste. PM Modi has erased all that. BJP has come to power in all the states even during the Corona crisis,” he said and expressed confidence that Karnataka will also support just like how BJP gets support from all over India.
MP Pratapasimha said, “Vote for BJP in this election. If we work to inform the people about the projects and programmes we have done for State in Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra, people will vote for us. The Mysore Municipal Corporation will become a large Mysore Municipal Corporation. He said Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumara swamy and MLA G. T. Deve Gowda might have worked for Old Unduwadi Water Project, however, it was funded by Yedkyurappa’s Government. Yediyurappa and Bommai have given a lot of grants to Mysuru,” he said.
“The people of Mysuru have defeated the Congress and Siddaramaiah. Is it wrong to ban the traitorous PFI? Congress Leaders say that they will remove the ban after coming to power. Siddaramaiah says they will take back the Conversion Act. If the cow slaughter ban is brought, they say they will eat beef. Congressmen are very light hearted about BJP. Among the Congress leaders, D. K. Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah and Kharge, all the three are in different directions,” he criticised.
