Mysuru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Campaign Committee President and Former Minister M. B. Patil said that party MLC candidate Madhu Made Gowda has worked hard for the welfare of people, and will emerge victorious.
Addressing the gathering during the campaigning for MLC election here on Friday June 10, Patil lashed out at both the Central and State BJP Governments alleging that unemployment was on the rise and that the party had failed to create jobs as promised and the number of unemployed graduates and other educated people was rising and hence, the party could not be trusted.
Byatarayanapura MLA Krishna Byregowda said that the state has a corrupt government. The party is spreading hate to gain votes. He also urged the public to support Congress if a stable and peaceful leader needs to lead the country.
KPCC Working President R. Dhruvanarayana, Varuna MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad, Hunsur MLA H. P. Manjunath, HD Kote MLA Anil Chikkamadu, Hoskote Independent MLA Sharath Bache Gowda, Former MLA of Krishnaraja Constituency M. K. Somashekar and other leaders were present.
