Mysuru: Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge released a book titled ‘Siddaramaiah Adalita: Neeti Nirdhara’ at a programme organised by Bengaluru’s Janamana Foundation here on Saturday July 23.
Speaking about the book on the occasion, Former Minister Dr. H. C. Mahadevappa said, “about 27 people including philosophers, teachers, political analysts, media experts and social workers came together and have compiled an excellent book for the people across the country and the world. Author Lakshmana Kodase has vividly has said that his book discusses the policies and style of administration of senior Congress Leader and Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and it is not a book of appreciation.”
“This book is a valuable contribution. The work comprising 446 pages was started by Dr. Narayan and ended with Ramachandre Gowda. The 27 progressive thinkers have immensely contributed for the compilation of this book, based on their analysis and understanding of Siddaramaiah’s administration and have discussed a plethora of subjects like social justice, electoral systems, administrative decisions, backgrounds of the struggle, election system and duties of the Election Commission during his tenure.”
Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Sutturu Matha Seer Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji, Adichunchanagiri Matha Seer Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji and others were present.
