Mysuru: Brain dead person gives lives to 12 people

Scientists identify brain signals for chronic pain

Mysuru: The family of a youth who was declared as brain dead have decided to donate his organs for needy, at Piriyapattana in the District on Friday September 30.

The deceased has been identified as R. Lohith of Chittenahalli. He met with an accident on Monday September 26 and had suffered severe injuries. Later he was admitted to Apollo Hospital.

As per the sources Lohith’s organs will be transplanted into 12 patients in need. Lohith’s cornea, heart, skin, kidney, and several other organs will be donated.
