Mysuru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated a social empowerment camp near Sri Nanjundeshwara Swamy Temple in Nanjanagudu City and the dedication of free aids and appliances to differently-abled persons.

Later, speaking on the occasion he said,
Chamarajanagara Lok Sabha Member V. Srinivas Prasad has shown humanity. He is dreaming of development by conducting such programmes within the limits of the Constituency. We will make that dream come true,” he said.

“The equipment is being distributed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are distributing equipment to 1500 differently-abled persons. We will do a special programme in the next Budget. Rs 500 crore will be reserved for differently-abled persons,” he assured.
