Mysuru: A convicted woman prisoner who was under treatment at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research passed away on Saturday April 9. She is suspected to have died of heart attack.
The deceased has been identified as Radha (33), a native of Halebeedu Taluk in Hassan District. Radha who was arrested on the charges of murdering her husband in 2015 was proved guilty of the charges in 2017. Since then she was lodged in Central Prisons Mysuru.
Radha had collapsed inside the jail and succumbed before shifting to hospital.
