Mysuru: Cultural City to become silent zone this Diwali

Mysuru: On the occasion of Deepavali festival, the places under the Commissionerate of City have been declared as silent zones. City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta has issued an order in this regard.

Sri Chamarajendra Zoo, Kukkarahalli Lake area, Karanjikere area, Lingabudikere area, public parks, hospital and nursing homes, educational institutions, court, religious places within 100 meters perimeter area under the Commissionerate. From November 23 to 26, 6.00 am to 12.00 am has been marked as a quiet zone.

In a press release issued, it has been nformed that no crackers will be allowed to burst in the above areas.
