Mysuru: District In-Charge Minister S. T. Somashekar said that those who visit the temple they will be allowed to watch Dasara programmes without any hassle.
Speaking to mediapersons after inspecting preparations for Dasara at Chamundi hills on Sunday September 18 ahead of the visit of the President of India Draupadi Murmu’s visit, the Minister said that seating arrangements are being made for the public according to the availability of space. He said that there is space for 1,500 to 2,000 people and all the devotees who come to the temple have a free opportunity to watch the Dasara inauguration programme.
“I am visiting Chamundi Betta and inspecting the place in the background of the arrival of the President for the Dasara inauguration. I have asked the officials to prepare the stage for the programme, seating arrangements for the dignitaries, and the public, programme observation and security as per the instructions of the President’s office. The security will be arranged appropriately,” he said.
