Mysuru: State Revenue Minister R. Ashoka on Tuesday September 20 said that encroachment of rajakaluves in Bengaluru will be dealt with all seriousness. “We are not going to spare anyone. The clearance drive will continue all over the City.”

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday he said, “I said that rajakaluves’ clearance drive should be a permanent affair. Be it rich or poor, whoever has encroached rajakaluves will face the action. We have already approached the court in this regard.”

He further said, “The clearance drive is not restricted to two zones alone. It applies to the entire City. Wherever there is flooding, civic authorities have been given a free hand to clear encroachment. Any ruling government has to face criticism. We are not favouring any person as alleged by the Congress.”
