Mysuru: In a shocking incident, a husband beheaded his wife suspecting fidelity reportedly from Chattanahalli near Varuna on Monday June 27.
It is said that the accused Devaraju frequently quarrelled with his second wife Puttamma (40) suspecting her fidelity.
The couple has a 20-year-old daughter.
When Devaraju’s daughter left for college, he beheaded Puttamma with a sickle.
Police launched an investigation after receiving a complaint from the accused’s daughter, Pavithra Varuna.
