Mysuru: Former Minister and KR Nagar JD (S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh submitted the documents corroborating his allegations against previous Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru Rohini Sindhuri.
Mahesh along with Former Deputy Mayor V. Shylendra who appeared before IAS Officer and Secretary of Housing Department J. Ravishankar submitted the documents at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. Ravishankar has been tasked with the probe into the allegations made by Mahesh and Shylendra against Rohini Sindhuri, who is currently the Commissioner of Department of Religious Endowment.
On the sidelines of appearing before the probe panel, Mahesh told mediapersons that he had made total five charges against Rohini Sindhuri. He alleged that “infringing upon the powers of local bodies,
Rohini Sindhuri had purchased cloth bags to be distributed, at the exorbitant rate of Rs. 52 against the market price of Rs. 6. She had also built a swimming pool at the DC’s official residence ignoring the sanctity of the heritage building. On the other hand, advocate and
State JD (S) Spokesman N. R. Ravichandre Gowda has also lodged a complaint with Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), said Mahesh.
