Mysuru: Varuna Constituency MLA Yatindra Siddaramaiah said that Varuna Constituency is lucky for my father.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday November 30 he said that Siddaramaiah has a chance to become Chief Minister of State. If he wishes to contest from Varuna I am ready to give up my constituency for my father, he noted.
He said that many leaders and workers of the State are inviting Siddaramaiah to contest in their respective constituencies. But father has not finalised any constituency so far. So it is my insistence that he should contest from Varuna Constituency. He also said that Varuna Constituency is safe from the point of view of party organisation and Constituency. Varuna Constituency is a lucky Constituency for his father, as Siddaramaiah is facing the last election. It is my personal insistence that he should contest from Varuna Constituency, he said.
“Also, I will not compete in any other Constituency. I will work for my father. Besides, he had earlier won from Varuna Constituency and was the leader of the Opposition party and later became the Chief Minister. Now Siddaramaiah has a chance to become Chief Minister if he wins from Varuna, he said. “Whenever my father stood and won from Varuna, he got power,” he noted.
He alleged that BJP is trying to grab power by creating unrest in society. “The BJP is including many rowdy-sheeters in the party, he alleged and added that the BJP is a party of rioters.
