Mysuru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that there must be ideological conflicts for the emergence of new ideas. He opined that where there is no room for ideological conflicts, there is no room for new ideas.
Speaking after inaugurating Rangotsava programme organised by Rangayana on Saturday December 10 he said that when you look at an idea carefully, you will understand its inner intentions. A new thinking, a new dimension, a grand future inclusive of all, is needed for our nation. He said that Rangayana should be the main channel for conveying such ideas. We have already learnt lessons from conflicts. Let those lessons colour the new generation’s work of bringing rationality closer to our lives. In ancient times, the feelings that could not be expressed through words, and the feelings that could not be expressed through literature, were expressed through acting. Each character had their own emotions. Our expression should be natural and not dramatic. CM hoped that Rangayana would grow like the cultural capital of Mysuru.
Addressing the gathering Film Actor Ramesh Aravind said that may the multi-faceted theatre festival, which is conceived in the wonderful idea of Indianness, be a success. He said that Rangayana teaches various rules of acting while introducing all possibilities.
