Mysuru: In response to the recent murder of a tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, activists of the BJP, VHP, Baj Rang Dal, and other Sangh Parivar outfits staged a massive rally in the City.
The activists who gathered under the banner of the Federation of Pro – Hindu Organisations took out a rally from Gandhi Square to Deputy Commissioner’s office in the city on Saturday July 2.
The activists raised slogans against Rajasthan Government for the incident and demanded stringent action against the accused in the case.
The traders at Gandhi Square, Shivarampet and D Devaraja Urs road shut their commercial establishments in support of the protest. The activists held saffron flags with the fiery image of Lord Hanuman, indicating their anguish against the Udaipur incident.
