Mysuru: “It is not enough to accuse the State Government of 40 per cent commission, if there are appropriate documents as evidences, let them be given. We will take action on the same, said Major and Medium Irrigation Minister Govind Karjol.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday August 22, Minister said that no one should do hit-and-run through mere allegation. In reaction to the media that State Contractors’ Association President Kempanna who made allegation about 40 per cent commission against State Government would meet Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, he said that they should give documents about their allegation and the Government would conduct probe into issue and would take appropriate action.
He said the recent heavy rains have caused a loss of around Rs. 600 Crore in the State. I have visited the affected areas and inspected them, and I myself have visited Kodagu and Mandya Districts. He said Rs. 10.40 Crore loss have been incurred by heavy rains in Mysuru District. He said that the concerned officials have been instructed to prepare an estimated list.
