Mysuru Railway Division introduces Automatic Ticket Vending Machines

Mysuru: Mysuru Railway Division has introduced Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM) in various stations to make it easier for the passengers to get unreserved tickets here.

The digital mode of purchasing unreserved tickets facility so far has been installed in Hassan, Shivamogga Town, Davangere, Haveri, Arsikere, Bhadravati, Pandavapura, Kadur and Harihar railway stations apart from Mysuru.

Chief Commercial Manager, Manjunath Kanamadi has stated that only Smart Card payment option was earlier made available in the ATVMs to buy tickets. But in the new machines Paytm, Freecharge & UPI QR code-based payment facilities too have been incorporated, he added.

Apart from booking unreserved journey tickets, the passengers can buy platform tickets, renew season tickets and recharge ATVM Smart Cards.
