Mysuru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities are the identity of India and there is a need to empower both communities.
After inaugurating two-day National Executive Meeting of the BJP SC Morcha at Lalit Mahal Palace here in the City, CM Bommai said, if both SC and ST come forward then there will be rise in nation’s strength. The downtrodden communities need to be self-respecting and self-reliant, he said.
He also said that, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was the greatest patriot. I also proudly say that I am also an Ambedkarite, he said.
