Mysuru: State Higher Education, IT and BT Minister Dr C. N. Ashwath Narayan said that the whole world knows Siddaramaiah is ‘Siddramulla Khan’. Heence Former Chief Minister should change his name formally, he added.
Speaking to the mediapersons at the Mysore University programme on Saturday December 3, Ashwath Narayan condemned the incident of Congress laying siege to MLA C. T. Ravi’s house in Chikkamagaluru over his statement that Siddaramaiah is Siddramullah Khan. Congress is dreaming that they will come to power. Congress leaders who are fighting each other will not come to power for any reason, he asserted.
The Minister expressed confidence that the BJP will come back to power. The recruitment process for Assistant Professor posts is going on and the recruitment process will be completed soon. In response to MP Pratap Sinha’s statement that more staff than required have been recruited in the University of Mysore, he said we will give grants only to the posts sanctioned by the Government. In case of additional recruitment, salary should be paid from their resources. He clarified that Government would not pay salary for additional posts for any reason.
