Mysuru: Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan said that both Congress and JD (S) are equal enemies of BJP in the State. Minister Ashwath Narayan hit back at Congress leaders who have been criticising them saying that voting for theJD (S) is like voting for the BJP.
Speaking to mediapersons here he said that both the Congress and the JD (S) are equal enemies of the BJP. “The BJP will not compromise with anyone or for any reason on the issue of elections. I will not enter into an agreement with anyone. The BJP’s aim is to come back to power in the coming elections. The BJP will come to power on its own,” he said.
Hitting back at the Congress for repeatedly bringing in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah because there are no capable leaders in the State BJP, Ashwath Narayan said, “We are bringing it because we have people like Modi and Amit Shah. There is no leader in the Congress who is capable of matching Modi and Amit Shah. Siddaramaiah has nothing else to do and also Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar. Both of them are busy. Therefore, they are making baseless comments,” he said.
