Mysuru: District In-Charge Minister S. T. Somashekar on Saturday August 20 said the Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah’s car was attacked in Kodagu as he did not visit the region during the time of rains and its affects.

Speaking to mediapersons here Somashekar said Siddaramaiah and the Congress leaders were busy in Siddaramotsava when the people in the region were facing heavy rains. His car was attacked with egg as he had failed to visit when the people needed him,” he said.

Somashekar added that Siddu visited now only after the State Government made all the necessary arrangements for the rain-ravaged people.
