Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha has said that a campaign will be launched on Tuesday February 27 to clear the trees and waste sludge that have been gutted in fire on the 45-km Ring Road in City limits.
He held a meeting with officials regarding the cleanliness of the Ring Road (NH – 275K) at Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Auditorium here and said that garbage is being dumped unnecessarily on the Ring Road. Some miscreants also caught fire at night, destroying the plants that they had nurtured for the last three to four years. Though street lights have been installed on ring roads, some robberies are taking place, he said.
The Ring Road cannot be seen because of the garbage dumped everywhere by bar waste, masanda shop, animal wastage, and cutting shops. This should be taken seriously by the Municipal Authorities, he said and warned that if this continues, the Chief Officers of the Town Panchayat will be held responsible.
